7days

It's a final countdown!
Everything is done, now I am just waiting tick-tok tick-tok.
To be honest, from time to time I worry about a few things., actually about two things. One of them is ridiciously stupid and the other one is I guess normal for everyone who moves to Dubai.
So the first thing:
WEATHER
I just love when it is cold and when snow sparkles in the street lamp's light. When I think of paradise I think of winter. So this creates a tiny problem-Dubai is, let's be honest, unbearable, when it comes to high temperatures. But really who would mind that it the prize was living in this city. So in fact, it is not a problem at all.
The second:
cultural differences
I'm just afraid of making some kind of faux pas in public, which may cause some unpleasent consequences,. I've always been a troublemaker. Si here I have a little request to every person who is by chance reading this post: If you have any experiences regarding the behaviour and the DO's and DON'Ts please email me: jk.in.dubai@gmail.com I would be grateful for any hints. :)
I guess the most important thing when living in any arabic country is respecting their culture, as we are thei guests, and not the opposite. And my dad has almost done one of the biggest faux pas recently-he almost entered the women section on the bus, which was followed by disgusted glances of all the men and women on the bus. I felt so sorry for my dad. :D
It'll be okay, I can't complain in advance, It'll make everything worse, so I know everything will work out in some way. :)

And the baking part:
My had her bday party yesterday and I thought that a good idea would be to make some pralines.
They are easy and tasty.

So here is the recipe for the white chocolate pralines:

What you need is 240 grams of white chocolate, 1/4 of cup of heavy cream and 1 table spoon of rum. Just put it to a pot, and mix until combined on low heat, later put it to two small bowl and to the refrigeartor for 4 hours. Take them out, form small balls 1-1.5 cm in diameter and coat it with castor sugar or desiccated coconut.
The recipe comes from the best polish cooking blog: kwestia smaku (matter of taste) just click on the link to go to the page.
